Mommy Fail...! Lol!

First...

Happy New Year!  Woot!  Woot!

Second...

Mommy is not allowed to teach LolaBean the alphabet!  LOL!  I have been busted now on 2 occasions for screwing up the alphabet song.  First time I skipped 10 letters and went straight to the end.  JD lost his mind laughing as I did it with a straight face not even realizing I had done it.  And the second time was last night singing it to her in the tub.  I missed V dang it.  When I was done singing JD looks at Lola and says "oh and let's not forget V!"  And loses it laughing at me again.  I'm all did I really forget V?  He's all yes Mommy you did!  You are fired from teaching our daughter the alphabet.

I have no idea what my problem is?  I truly do know the alphabet.  I'm just a complete space cadet lately.  Oh well!  But I thought I would share this story (even if it makes me look rather dim) as I thought it was pretty funny!

LolaBean said her first clear sentence on December 30.  She said "See I got your phone Daddy!"  As she was handing JD his I.Phone.  I can't believe it was 1 year ago that she uttered her first word.  Mom!  Well 2011 and 2012 have been especially kind to JD and I.  We are very excited to see what 2013 brings.  We have some significant changes on the horizon.  And of course this baby in my belly is one of them.  But there are others that have kept me up at night.  I'm a ball of excitement, fear, and hope.  Hope that these changes we are aiming to make will take our little family in the direction we want them too.

I have a pregnancy related post coming soon.  I may even include a belly picture.  Gak!  My belly popped fast!

Happy New Year my friends.

Much Love!

I actually did this last week too...so apparently it's not just pregnant moms that forget the song ;) I missed half the alphabet and thought "that doesn't sound right". So exciting with Lola talking and making sentences. Excited for your new year and hope all of your changes are good and go smoothly.
