Pregnancy #2

In February of 2012 we decided we wanted to attempt an FET with our very last embryo.  So I spent the next months getting my body in the best shape possible.  I ran a triathlon in July.  I was doing cross fit training right up until the week before the transfer.

We went to Washington without knowing if there was actually going to be anything to transfer.  We would find out at the time of the FET.  And sure enough our little frostie made the thaw and looked great.  5 days later I got a positive HPT.  Wow!  To say we were in shock was an understatement.  We went into this knowing our chances were slim of it working...  But Wow it worked.

I had a super easy pregnancy this time around.  I did have another SCH but it was small and far away from the baby.  I was told by my Dr to quit running and cycling.  Just to take it easy with this pregnancy as the last one was so bad.  And my PAPP-A was borderline again.  Indicating that I might have blood pressure issues again.  So I laid back and grew a large belly!

Everything went great.  I was induced at 38 weeks 2 days, just because of the low PAPP-A.  The induction lasted a whole 2 hours and 20 minutes.  Lucy was delivered in 3 pushes.  She was 5 lbs 12 ozs. and 21 inches long on June 29, 2013.  My Dad's birthday!

I feel so incredibly blessed to have these 2 wonderful girls in my life.  I honestly feel like I've won the lottery!
