Allow me to introduce Ick and Bick. This is what JD and I have nick named our little em-babies. I hope with all that I am that they choose to stay put and nuzzle in for the long haul.
I am currently 4 days post transfer. I've had cramping, pinching and back aches. But the back aches could be from sitting on my rear end for the last 4 days! Hah! I'm still pretty bloated, but I think that has to do mostly with the PIO injections. To be honest I feel nothing... Except scared!
I'm not going to get into all the scared rambling thoughts that I have. Instead I'm going to thoroughly enjoy the rest of my week off work. Enjoy my puppies, day time tv, and the 20 movies I have waiting for me to watch. Oh and the soup I made and froze before transfer. I'm so digging into that tomorrow. Yumm!!
Tonight JD and I will catch up on a week's worth of peevers and I will enjoy a homemade Vanilla Milk Shake.
In other sad news... When we were away my sister in law had to put down their dog Kaya. JD and I loved Kaya very much. We are a very large dog family. And when one of us loses a pet we all feel like we've lost our family friend. We knew Kaya was sick before we left. They weren't sure if it was Leukemia or a fungal infection. Unfortunately it was Leukemia and by Friday morning she was suffering. She was struggling to breath, not eating and bleeding out of her nose. It all happened very quick. She had only started to get sick about 3 weeks ago. We saw her the day before we left. I got her to eat a peanut butter sandwich, and I gave her a lot of kisses. She will be missed, and she was loved. She was a great dog. Rest in peace sweet Kaya. Run, play, and we'll all be together one day!
