Working it Out!

JD and I are becoming more comfortable with the impending changes to our lifestyle.  We are making cuts where we can.  And looking forward to the decrease in stress and working hours.  He will be working a 1/2 hour closer to home which means he'll make it home for bath time again.  So there is definitely a lot of positives attached to this change.  And let's be honest we've been talking about handing over the one store for a year now and just weren't cutting the ties yet.  And I think that is why it stings a little is we wanted to be the ones to give it up instead of having it taken away.  There are a lot of reasons why we wanted to give up this store, too many to list, and if head office believes that someone new and fresh in there can get some more life into it, by all means have at it.

Now onto my title...  Working it out...  I have been!  Yes you read that right.  I finally got my arse back to the gym.  Now stop planning the parades and the hoopla I know you are so giving me.  I've only been 4 times so far.  But it's a start.  And it's a start in the right direction.  Especially considering one or all of us has been under the weather for the last 2 weeks.  The weather here has been awful.  Cold, windy and rainy, so some days you don't want to leave the house, especially with two little uns.  But I'm braving it today with a sinus headache and the rain and I'm going to the gym to run on the treadmill.  Woot!  Woot!

It feels good and bad.  Bad because I feel like I should be better than where I am.  And maybe I am but I'm not pushing myself super hard.  And good because I'm feeling all my old muscles wake up.  Bad because the scale is not moving one pound.  Good because running makes me happy.  Bad because I still want a bacon cheese burger and fries every day.  Bad because I can't restrict my diet due to breast feeding.  Good because I'm able to breast feed at all!  Like life there is always two sides to every coin.  Lol!

Okay this post is all over the place so I'm signing off.  Must get the girls ready for the gym!

Lots of Love!

Lots of great news in this post! I'd say to not expect a ton of change numbers-wise on the scale for now...it's really the strength and toning that will make the biggest difference for you while you're BFing! Way to get back at it!
