9 Months Old!

My sweet little LolaBean is now 9 months old.  How did this happen?  Where did the time go?  Those weeks of no sleep and living in my pajamas feels like such a distant blurry memory now.  I am so very thankful everyday, because this little girl is just my world.  She is so happy all the time.  She's quick with a smile and a bat of her eyelashes.  At 9 months she's already a little flirt and has been seen kissing the boy next door!  :0

LolaBean you now say Mamamama (me), Dadadada (JD), Lalalalala (yourself), Dthougie - with a screech in it (doggies), and I swear you honestly believe you are having conversations with us.  LOL!  You are trying really hard to say ball, but it comes out as baaaabaaa with a couple of mouth smacks behind it.  You still are not crawling but you are trying so hard to get up to a standing position.  We are starting to wonder if you are just going to skip crawling and go straight to walking!?  You get yourself from your belly to a sit and from a sit to your belly to pretend to crawl (tease)!  You now have 5 teeth, as you decided to get 3 new ones in 3 days, which resulted in some horrible diaper rash.  Thank gosh for vase.line and panetene(sp)!  You still love your jolly jumper, excer saucer and now your walker saucer.  Your eyes are still blue and it is a gorgeous dark blue, I love them.  And you have these incredibly long eyelashes.  Oh how mommy envies those!  LOL!

You weigh a petite 17 lbs. 11 ounces.  And you are 2 ft 3 inches.  The Dr assures me even though you are small on the percentile range that you are just fine and not to worry.  You refuse to drink more than 4 ounces of formula at one sitting.  So you are still only drinking 20-24 ounces a day.  But you are eating 3 solid meals and sometimes 2 snacks!  You still don't like meat too much but you do like omelets! We are really working on your food selection. You can not only eat fruit Miss Bean!

You have accepted going to the sitter 2-3 times a week for a full day.  But you now smile so big when I show up to pick you up.   And you squeal with delight when we get home and you see your doggies.  Your doggies love you too LolaBean.  Just this weekend they ganged up on a friend's Shitzu because he was just too close to their baby!  Good thing the Shitzu has 15 lbs on them, and that none of them have teeth!  LOL!  Our whole family has changed since you came rushing into this world LolaBean.  And every one's lives has been so enriched by you.  We love you so much baby girl.

Your Daddy and I now look to the future with smiles on our faces.  We can't wait for all the moments we are going to have together as a family.  We are changing and growing right along with you Bean.  And everything we do is to enrich yours and our lives.  Sometimes life can be scary, but IF was scary and in the end we got the greatest gift ever.  We got you!

I love you my heart!

Much Love!
