Biopsy Results & New Plan

Finally! WE got the results last Wednesday from my biopsy. Normal! Yahh! Finally one good test! The Dr's think it was a roll off of a bad reaction to the patches. I now go for my Lupron Depot shot this Wednesday and then start a longer harder round of estrace pills. Thanks to the abundant amount of information I get from reading my fellow IF's blogs. I have asked that they not be taken orally! Teehee! As apparently this can eliminate some of the headaches. And it can also help thicken the lining a little faster. It can't hurt to try right?!

I've also requested PIO injections rather than the suppository. I've just had too much bad luck with the drugs that I don't want to monkey around at this point. And I also don't like having to wear a diaper for 2 weeks. I'd rather do the shot in the bum! Well at least I say this now...We'll see after the transfer! See now that's me being positive! I AM going to make it to a transfer this year! I just keep telling myself this and maybe it'll be true.

This weekend was my oldest brother's 40th birthday! His girlfriend threw him a surprise party. They live about 3 hours away, so JD and I took Saturday off work and went down for the party Friday night! It was fantastic! If I ever need to cut loose I can always rely on my Big Brother to help me! The party went until 4 am... It's definitely a good thing I didn't have to do anything important the next day! And I'm hoping this will be my last alcohol for at least a year! (more positivity there) I've decided that I'm going to be easy breezy, no stress, and any and all thoughts I have about this upcoming cycle are only going to be positive!

Biopsy Complete

It wasn't at all what I remembered from my past biopsies. This one was worse! I will spare you the details, but I will say I am still in quite a bit of pain today. Cramping, tight and just plain sucky! The new drug that has been added today could also be playing a role in the not feeling well. I don't know. I'm now finally nearing the end of DE IVF #1 - part 2. No transfer yet again. But hopefully DE IVF #1 - part 3 will be starting shortly and maybe just maybe this time we will make it to a transfer!

Onto my Fur Baby

Maddie is getting better. Slowly but surely. The vet wasn't 100% sure that it wasn't an abscess from a tooth infection as she is overdue to lose a few teeth. We have now booked her for dental surgery on Tuesday. She's on antibiotics for 2 weeks. I've been washing the area of her face with Epsom salts and warm water. The abscess' have exploded (disgusting), and it does finally look better! Thank God! Now I just have to worry about my 10 year old dog going under anesthetic! I'm going to give all 3 pups a bath this weekend, so at least she'll look good next week when she won't be feeling good!

Biopsy Tomorrow

I am scheduled in for 8:30 tomorrow morning. I'm still on the estrace, I believe until tomorrow. I was able to switch things around at work so I don't have to come in at all tomorrow. Thank gosh because I always feel a bit yucky after a biopsy. (I've had 3) I don't know how long it takes for the results. My last ones 11 years ago took less than a week. But my RE is doing it right in the clinic so they may be the ones doing all the testing. I'm not worried though. I just want to get through all the tests so that we can start DE IVF part 3!

Onto other news... I'm taking my oldest fur-baby, Maddie, to the vet this morning. I took a picture of her last night when we got home from work (7:30) and she looked as cute as ever. Then in bed at 10:00 JD says to me what's wrong with Maddie's eye? Sure enough her eye is swelling shut, and it's swollen down the side of her face and purple. We think it might be a bug bite. We gave her a tiny bit of baby benedryl, and it seemed to help. But I just can't not worry about her she's 10 years old and she's my princess. So I've brought her to work with me and we are off to see the vet in 10 minutes! I will post pictures of my 3 wonderful fur-babies later today. With hopefully an I worried for nothing post about Mad Dog...

Scared...

Today I am scared. And it has nothing to do with ttc. I am scared because today at 3:30 JD has a follow up consult regarding a biopsy he had 3 weeks ago on his tongue. The ortho said it doesn't necessarily have the characteristics of cancer, so we shouldn't worry. But don't you think he says that to everyone?

I don't know what to think... I don't want to think the worst, but I'm really scared! I guess it's pointless to worry until we know what we are dealing with. I'll update when I can. And JD if you are reading this, I love you, and everything will work out. We always find a way to bounce babe!
